The Story
A Day on the Creek
Shem Creek is Mount Pleasant’s working waterfront — a tidal creek lined with shrimp trawlers and marsh, dolphins rolling through at the turn of the tide, the Charleston skyline off in the distance. The Outpost sits right in the middle of it: a complete experience, from essential bait and tackle to apparel and food. A shift here might mean plating lunch, pouring a cold one, ringing up a box of shrimp, or catching a line on the dock. It’s honest Lowcountry work in a beautiful spot — and we’d rather build it with people who actually want to be here.
