The Story
A Small Flag For A Creek
The round Shem Creek sticker is not our invention. Local shops and Charleston artists have been drawing the same shrimp boat on the same water for years, and people keep buying it — for the water bottle, the bumper, the back glass of the truck. We are not pretending we got there first. We are saying it is worth four dollars to carry a piece of this place around, and that the version on weathered wood, outriggers down, is the one that looks right.

Why it’s like that
Why The Boat
The trawler is on every Shem Creek sticker for a reason. This is a real working shrimping waterway — at its peak about seventy trawlers ran off these docks. The fleet is down to roughly a dozen now, and the creek is better known for the restaurants behind it, but the boats are still the image everyone reaches for. A souvenir is just a way to keep an experience of a place. We put it on durable vinyl so yours survives the cooler.
